This is not just a guide for counting days, but it shows cases the nobles values of the community which is the basis for the calendar, their adherence to the traditional calendar for generations. [Told by Dongkiri, a priestess, of Tombotuon (1952)] There was once a young bachelor who worked in his clearing without knowing anything about 'kadaat' or 'tundalaat'. When he had made his clearing and sown the seed, and the paddy had come up, it was excellent. Then, when he was living in his hut on the clearing, he heard a noise at night as if someone was calling.
